St. Joseph’s Hospital: End ALL Animal Experiments & Rehome Survivors

St. Joseph’s Hospital in London, Ontario, has confirmed that all eight surviving dogs from its cruel secret dog lab program are been released for rehoming. This victory follows Animal Justice’s exposé, which revealed disturbing details from two whistleblowers about traumatized puppies forced to endure heart attacks lasting up to three hours, left whimpering and screaming in pain during recovery. For years, surviving dogs were killed and discarded like garbage.

While the release of the dogs and the end of the hospital’s dog experiments are important steps forward, other animals remain trapped inside St. Joseph’s laboratories. Pigs are still used in invasive wound-healing experiments, where large, open holes are cut into their backs, and rodents continue to suffer painful and outdated tests. Like the dogs, these animals deserve a second chance—and sanctuaries are ready to provide them with lifelong, loving homes.

Urge St. Joseph’s to end all cruel animal experiments, embrace modern animal-free alternatives, and ensure every surviving animal is released to sanctuaries instead of being killed.
