On January 1, 2027, Ontario’s historic ban on invasive medical experiments on dogs and cats will take effect. As the deadline approaches, labs have a duty to rehome surviving animals.

Nucro-Technics, Canada’s largest contract lab in Toronto, was recently exposed for conducting horrific experiments on animals. Undercover footage showed beagles whimpering, struggling, vomiting, and crying during tests. Dogs were forcefully administered substances, roughly restrained, and confined in cages where some repeatedly turned in circles, a sign of psychological distress.

These dogs deserve to make it out alive and be given a second chance in a loving home.

Animal Justice has reached out to Nucro-Technics and offered to facilitate the rehoming of any dogs and cats in its lab before the January 1 deadline, but the company did not accept. Specialized rescue organizations are prepared to help rehabilitate and adopt out lab animals.

Take action now. Please send a polite letter urging Nucro-Technics to choose compassion and commit to rehoming dogs!
