Tell Winnipeg to Protect Pets & Wildlife in Update to Animal By-Law

Exciting changes have been proposed for Winnipeg’s by-law on responsible pet guardianship — which if enacted, could make Winnipeg Canada’s leader in the protection of companion animals and wildlife!

Winnipeg is proposing to take important action to crack down on puppy mills, end its decades-long ban on pit bulls, prohibit most exotic animal ownership, and outlaw most uses of lethal traps and wildlife poisons.

Please take a moment to contact mayor Brian Bowman along with Winnipeg city councillors to let them know you strongly support these progressive amendments to its companion protection by-law!
